Also known as the leatherleaf fern, this plant grows year-round and can last anywhere from seven to 21 days. The leather fern is thick and extends out on the sides in a unique formation. The way the stem branches out creates a triangular shape and is great for adding body to floral decor. It can stand alone in a vase as a centerpiece or add a tropical flair to a floral arrangement.

Myrtle is one of the most popular types of greenery because of the variety of ways that it can be used. It has long stems which are lined with glossy leaves. The thick foliage that this creates looks best in floral centerpieces. It also exudes a sweet fragrance that makes it perfect for home decor. The myrtle is a representation of love and for that reason is often found in wedding arrangements as well.

My love story with wedding flowers started in college when I took a basic floral design class then found myself volunteering at the campus flower shop. I studied floral design the hands-on way for several years - learning every aspect of wedding design. When I graduated, I opened my own little specialty bridal flower shop. And in the late 1990’s, I switched over to a new marketplace – the internet. And TheBridesBouquet.com was born online in 1999. The early years of selling online were kind of crazy and almost like the wild west. It is hard to believe that 20 years have passed and now buying online is what everyone does, but it wasn’t always that way.
I ordered my silk bridal bouquet from you for my August Wedding. I just wanted to say that it was better than I ever imagined. Not only do my wedding flowers look terrific in photos, but even my guests could not tell they were artificial flowers. I had people come up and touch my silk  bridal bouquet just to check. It was absolutely stunning! Thank you for a great wedding bouquet that will last a lifetime!
As I’ve mentioned on here before Josh and I are planning this wedding on a seriously small budget. We’re both still in school and while we will be graduated by the time we get married neither one of us will have started our careers and we do not want to start out our lives together by going into debt for a wedding. That said, we still want a beautiful, fantastic day. I don’t think that a wedding has to cost a lot of money to look amazing. If you’re willing to take on some of the tasks yourself you can really save money. After getting quotes for flowers from local florists and realizing that my dream peony bouquet was not only not feasible but not possible in July, Josh and I decided to make our own flowers and use silk ones so that we wouldn’t have to worry about them being fragile or potentially dying before the ceremony.
One of the many benefits of buying bulk flowers for your wedding at Sam’s Club is the price. You’ll get exclusive members-only pricing, and the savings is significant when you compare the price against buying from your local florist. There are excellent prices on all of the flowers at Sam’s Club, plus you’ll love the time-savings of having the flowers delivered directly to you. Wedding collections typically include a variety of flowers for the bridal party, including a bridal bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and flower petals. It’s a great, easy way to order all your flowers at once. And, if you need additional matching bridesmaid bouquets  or boutonnieres and corsages, Sam’s Club makes them easy to order.
Ivy is perfect for accessorizing and can be added to anything from floral headdresses to table centerpieces. The leaves of ivy are unique in their triangular shape. The leaves cascade down its branches, making it ideal for wrapping around wreaths and adding flow to floral baskets. Ivy has a longer lifespan than most types of greenery; it lasts for months or even years, so it works great for home decor during holiday months or celebrations.
I think we can ALL agree that the wedding bouquets pictured on this page are gorgeous. Well, guess what! They were all DIY’ed by brides (along with their friends!), using wholesale flowers from FiftyFlowers! Yeah, our jaws almost dropped to the floor, too. If I knew I could have DIY’ed my own wedding bouquet to look like one of these, I would have definitely enlisted the help of my mom and bridesmaids and had a fun bouquet-making party for my own wedding. But what do you need to know to DIY your own wedding bouquet and have them turn out exactly the way you want? We connected with the pros at FiftyFlowers to find out just that. Read their advice for making your own wedding bouquet below.

Also known as the Peruvian lily, the alstroemeria originated in South Africa. Like its exotic name, the inner petals of this flower have stripes on them that create texture and diversity when added to bouquets.  They come in a range of colors from whites and golds to pinks and purples. The alstroemeria symbolizes friendship and devotion and is often seen in bouquets for friends or relatives.
Wedding event blossom arrangements from the church can be transferred to the reception hall for dual duty.

Get lots of ideas: Look through magazines, books on floral decorating, visit fine floral shops, and take pictures of floral arrangements you like in public places. The more ideas you have, the more you'll have to incorporate into your wedding flowers.
